Head and Shoulders, Suave, Avon, Mill Creek, natural and un-natural remedies, you name it, I've more then likely used it at some point. Quickly running out of options and short of getting a prescription I decided to give Axe a try and boy am I glad I did! My dandruff has been drastically reduced almost to the point it's nonexistent.The added conditioner also gives my hair a nice silky feeling without having to spend extra time or effort, very nice! The nicest feature of this shampoo that most dandruff sufferers will like is the cooling effect that it has. If you have the slightest itchy or irritated scalp, the cooling effect couldn't feel any better. I honestly don't know what the difference between Axe's Freeze and the other shampoos I've tried (they all seem to have 2%-5% Pyrithione Zinc in them), but there is just something in it that works better then any other shampoo I've tried... I thought I'd find some great itch relief shampoo out there, but most of what I saw was just dandruff/itch shampoo. Anyway this one caught my attention so I bought it. I don't feel any cooling tingly sensation when I use it, though it certainly smells like there is some nasty medicinal junk in it. Overall the scent isn't bad, but when you have it lathered up in your hair it smells pretty strong. May work great for dandruff, but if all you have is an itchy head, find something else. I gave it three stars because I guess it does clean your hair (though not as good as pantene shamp/cond), and I like the design of the bottle with the cap that pops open when you push the button.
