"Tranquileyes" consists of rubbery-goggles (in your choice of color) that are lined with foam around the edges and are held on by a black adjustable nylon fabric strap. But here's what makes them unique: each eye cup holds a removable-visco elastic foam pad, that basically functions as a sponge for water to hydrate your eyes. Before you put them on, you add water to the spongy-pads and replace them into the eye-cups. You can use cold or warm water, depending on your needs. I prefer cold. I put them on last thing before I lay down to sleep, but first I apply lubricant drops or ointment to my eyes. It's a bit of a hassle, but it is an important part of my regime for eye-health and comfort. One design flaw is that the black strap adjustment clips do not work. I haven't gotten around to stitching them to fit, as I was instructed, and, as a consequence, they fall off during the night... I have been using this product daily for nearly 3 months and have noticed a difference.
