I also have glaucoma, and I'm only 47! My Dr. recommened this product, and I am SO glad he did! Their office is hoping to sell this product at a future date, so patients with problems like mine can get the product immediately. When I wake up, my eyes are rested, along with my body. It is actually comfortable to wear! I didn't realize it, but for years, my body fought with itself for sleep, because my eye would open a tiny bit during sleep, and over time, that will really dry out your eyes. We aren't talking about a wrinkle under your eye, or maybe something that we think makes us look old, it can actually take away sight! I used it a couple of times and seemed to feel some relief. However the strap keeps coming loose and sometimes right off in the middle of the night, losing the seal it is supposed to have to maintain the moisture level. The foam pads glued to the goggles themselves (rather than the removable ones that you wet) are also already coming unglued and I have only had the goggles for 1 month and used them maybe a dozen times. So far, so good. I like the comfort - I was afraid it would be bulky or cumbersome, as I have a rather small face, but it was very comfortable. I just soaked the pads in warm water and used Tranquileyes for about an hour, and felt very refreshed and my eyes did feel alot better. I'm sorry I didn't order the Tranquileyes water; I think that would enhance it even more. When I reorder eyepads, I'll try it.I'm all for anything that enhances my quality of life, and Tranquileyes fills the bill. |
