This review is from: Glover's Dandruff Control Medicine for Hair & Scalp (Misc.) I've used this product before and was quite pleased to find it on Amazon. My previous experience with this product was from 3-4 years ago before I discovered Amazon. It works really well although the smell is not the most pleasant. Based of the fact the the active ingredient is a sulfur compound, this is to be expected. If you've tried the other OTC remedies for your dandruff or sebhorreic dermatitis and have had less that good results, or if you want to avoid that frustration, try this product. I'd seriously doubt whether there is a better product that is avaialble without a prescription. I thought I MIGHT have seborrheic dermatitis, but was never sure. I tried dandruff shampoo. Tried a multitude of exfoliators and enzymes. All I really needed was this. In a matter of a sheer TWO days of twice daily use my flaking totally disappeared. Have been using it for two weeks and have not had a problem with flaking skin since I started using it. It's a basic moisturizer plus .25% zinc pyrithione. I was told the reason this works and dandruff shampoo doesn't is because you leave this on your skin, but obviously have to rinse off shampoo. Besides, dandruff shampoo on your face is a little harsh over time. It's a little heavy going on, but it works. It totally disappears on the skin once it absorbs. It might be a little heavy for acne-prone skin but it's still worth trying. This stuff does contain some heavier moisturizers--and It DOES... No mention whether it's of before and after. You are made to assume it's from the product, but it doesn't say so. The label just states "not effective on nails"! I tend to (as I get older) get a fungus under my nails and in the past my toenails. I have my nails done fairly often at a salon and I recently had to remove the artifical nail for them to heal. I have used this product twice and both times it completely healed the area. My fingernail which had separated halfway up from the end of my nail has now grown out completely in one month. This is an amazing product.!!! I searched online today to find this product again so I will always have an extra bottle on hand. I always like to share products on the market that really work and this one did for me!!!
