Yes, this product is a bit expensive but it's been worth it to me. Viroxyn is the only product that I've ever tried that actually helped decrease the healing time of a cold sore. I've used it 3 times in the past year. Each time I caught my cold sore at a different stage of development and every time it's helped get rid of the pain, took away the swelling and let me bypass the horrible cracking/scabbing stage (you know the one where you're afraid to smile cause you might start bleeding.) That makes it worth the price in my opinion.Other reviews claim that it's the same thing as drugstore antiseptic sprays like Bactine. I checked and yes, they have the same basic ingredients.
